Hey there! I’m Daniel, a passionate portrait photographer and educator who’s determined to uplift and motivate fellow photographers worldwide. My goal is simple: to empower you to become the best photographer you can be!
Ever since I began my professional photography journey back in 2013, I’ve poured countless hours into honing my craft, pushing boundaries, and falling head over heels for the art of capturing Portraits. So if there’s anyone who knows what it’s like to grow 2 full-time photography businesses, you’re looking at him!
As a full-time photographer, I’ve had the pleasure of working with a diverse range of people from couples tying the knot to growing families, expectant mothers, adorable newborns, and everything in between. And now, I’m thrilled to share my hard-earned knowledge with you through my carefully crafted online photography classes that promise to transform your skills and techniques.
I’ll teach you everything you need to know about portrait photography and post-production skills in a way that’s easy to understand and put into practice. An excellent video, Dan. Have you tried using Capture One for evening skin tones? It really excels at the task.

Thank you for your kind words. I have Capture one but don’t use it as the workflow in PS is simplified so much making tonal corrections even in the hardest situations easier. E.g in newborns with bad skin one needs to be able to have granular control of color selection as well as having the ability to use FS (Frequency separation)

This tutorial is now one of my favorites. He gives so much information on how to get it right in camera, and then in the edit process, he shows you how to add that zing to your images without looking overdone. This tutorial is great for learning how to edit skin and enhance eyes in a way that looks natural. I am a new subscriber, and I love having access to so many videos.

I love, love, love this tutorial! The attention to skin tones and enhancement of the eyes is excellent. Great job Daniel! I am so happy I got the annual membership. I have learned so much in such a short period of time.

This is the 3rd Edit i have done during Covid-19 down time. Again, I chose this because the RAW file is provided and I can follow along and learn better. I think this needed NIK plug in’s but the plugs in’s I had downloaded 2 years ago or so wouldn’t load into Photoshop 2020 for me. had to skip that part.
I also ran into Object Selection issue because it didnt show in my Photoshop only to learn i was using the 2019 version on my desktop and that is in the 2020 version. So once i changed over to see it, i was able to utilize it. Excellent edit and fun to do! Onto the next edit..

Thank you Sandy! Yes it’s possible to add the old Nik collection to the new Photoshop 2020 🙂 Send me a facebook message and I’ll guide you through the process!
